Specific Recommendations for First Year Students on the Double Degree in Business Administration and Tourism (GATU)
- It is very important that you regularly check your university e-mail (XXX@estudiant.uib.es) —which was created at the time of enrolment— during September, since all official notifications from the Faculty of Tourism shall be made via the university's e-mail system.

Enrolment and Group Selection
- Before enrolling, it is very important that you check the schedules of the next course. Each subject consists of Large Group sessions (GG XX) and Medium Group sessions (GM XXY). For each subject, it is mandatory to enroll in a large group and a medium group.
- VERY IMPORTANT: make sure you also select the medium groups for each subject. After paying your tuition fees, do not exit the page, as there is a further step to finalise enrolment: keep clicking ‘Continue’ at the bottom until the option to select medium groups displays. After selecting these groups, click ‘Save’. Only then should you click ‘Close’
Information about Languages
- This double degree comprises a series of subjects taught entirely in English, which will enable students to pass the International Curricular Pathway.
- The subjects German I and French I (taught in the first semester of the second year of the degree) begin directly at A2 level. Although not a requirement, students should have attained A1 level before the start of the course
Registration Tutorials and Welcome Day
- You can read the GTUR/GATU tutorial to resolve your doubts.
- The dean team will hold an information session where they will explain the most relevant issues of the studies, the development of the course and the main doubts of the students will be resolved. This session will take place on the first day, September 9, during one of your group's class hours.
General Recommendations for All Students on the Double Degree in Business Administration and Tourism (GATU)

There are two class days a week per subject: one day for the large group (GG XX) and the other for the medium group (GM XXY). It is mandatory to enrol on one large group and one medium group per subject.
