Registration Information for the Double Degree in Business Administration and Tourism (GATU)
Specific Recommendations for First Year Students on the Double Degree in Business Administration and Tourism (GATU)
It is very important that during the month of September you regularly check your institutional email (xxx@estudiant.uib.es), which was created during the enrollment process, as all official communications from the Faculty of Tourism will always be sent to this institutional email.
If you wish to forward your institutional email to your personal email account, this video will help you do so: https://youtu.be/KtVf7vapY7g.
Enrolment and Group Selection
Before enrolling, it is very important to check the schedules for the upcoming academic year. Each course includes two class days per week: one day in a large group (GG XX) and another in a medium group (GM XXY). For each course, it is mandatory to enroll in both a large group and a medium group.
When registering, you must first select the large group. Once the application confirms that the registration has been successfully processed, you should continue the process (without exiting the application) and choose the medium groups.
Requests for group changes will only be considered if there are justified reasons and provided that the legal capacity of the classroom, the group capacity, and the group change regulations allow it.
Information about Languages
- This double degree includes a series of courses taught in English, mostly in the morning schedule, which allow students to obtain the International Curricular Pathway.
- The subjects German I and French I (taught in the first semester of the second year of the degree) begin directly at an A2 level. Although not a requirement, students should have attained an A1 level before the start of the course.
Registration Tutorials and Welcome Day
You can read the GTUR/GATU tutorial to resolve your doubts.
The dean's team will hold an informational session where they will explain the most relevant aspects of the program, the course structure, and address the main questions from students.
This session will take place on the first day of class. During the first week of September, the student will receive an email with the date and time of the informational session.
